The vision of Sunnyside Baptist Church Children’s Ministry is to partner with parents in guiding their children into a personal relationship with Christ and actively disciple them to carry out God’s mission for their lives, which ultimately results in others coming to Christ.
From the moment your child enters, we will strive to connect your child(ren) in age-appropriate, engaging, scriptural teaching.
We know that children learn best in safe and secure surroundings. We also understand that parents can relax when their children are well cared for and safe. We believe in protecting children with an uncompromising safety/security process.
Our Kids’ Ministry works hard to have trained adults who come alongside you in your child’s spiritual growth weekly. We are here for you, cheering you on as you lead your child to love and follow Jesus!

GROW Kids 2026/2027
It’s time for GROW Kids 2026-2027. This is our mid-week program where we have Bible lesson, Bible Scripture Memorization, Worship, Outreach Focus and Game Time for children age 2 through 5th grade. We follow the Sullivan County School schedule.

Hope Came to Main Street
Join us for GLO Puppet Ministry’s heartwarming Christmas production, Hope Came to Main Street! Written by Brent Helvey and directed by Angie Helvey, this special presentation combines live drama and the creativity of our GLO Puppet Ministry to share a meaningful Christmas story filled with hope, joy, and the true message of Christmas. This wonderful production will remind us of the hope we have through Jesus Christ and the life-changing gift of His love. The Christmas tree is up, the lights are glowing, the ornaments are ready, the presents are wrapped, and the pieces for the nativity are all in place… but wait!!! There’s just one problem—the MANGER IS MISSING! 😲
Join us as our children set out to solve The Mystery of the Missing Manger! What begins as an exciting search becomes a reminder of what Christmas is really all about.
Along the way, our children will discover the greatest mystery of all: God kept His promise to send a Savior! Jesus came to us as a precious baby, born in a manger, bringing hope and salvation to the world. ❤️
We are excited to welcome special guests from our GLO Puppet Ministry to join our children for this special Christmas presentation!
