The vision of Sunnyside Baptist Church Children’s Ministry is to partner with parents in guiding their children into a personal relationship with Christ and actively disciple them to carry out God’s mission for their lives, which ultimately results in others coming to Christ.
From the moment your child enters, we will strive to connect your child(ren) in age-appropriate, engaging, scriptural teaching.
We know that children learn best in safe and secure surroundings. We also understand that parents can relax when their children are well cared for and safe. We believe in protecting children with an uncompromising safety/security process.
Our Kids’ Ministry works hard to have trained adults who come alongside you in your child’s spiritual growth weekly. We are here for you, cheering you on as you lead your child to love and follow Jesus!

GROW Kids 2024/2025
It’s time for GROW Kids 2024-2025. This is our mid-week program where we have Bible lesson, Bible Scripture Memorization and Game Time. Children age 2 through 6th grade. We follow the Sullivan County School schedule.

Basketball Shooters Camp
The Basketball Shooting Camp will be held from July 14-17, daily from 9 AM to noon. This camp is for boys and girls who have completed grades 1 through 8. The cost per camper is $30. It will be led by Danny Martin and Coach Mark Mason.

Overnight Summer Camp for 3rd-6th Graders
Register your child for our annual overnight kids' camp at Camp Placid in Blountville, TN, from July 20 to July 23. The cost is $100 per camper, which includes lodging, meals, and a camp t-shirt. Scholarships are available. For more information, please see Mrs. Tammy.

Summer Day Camp for Rising 3rd Graders
Register your rising 3rd grader for our annual kids' day camp at Camp Placid in Blountville, TN, on July 21 and July 22. Your camper is invited to join us for breakfast, lunch, and supper and all daily activities on Monday and Tuesday. You’ll drop your camper off at 8am and pick them up at 7pm. The cost is $50 per camper, which includes activities, all meals, and a camp t-shirt. Scholarships are available. For more information, please see Mrs. Tammy.

Volunteer with Sunnyside Kids
Whether you assist with check-in, help out in AWANA, nursery, or help with our fun events, serving with Sunnyside Kids will be a fun and rewarding experience. We have a variety of opportunities to allow you to use your gifts and talents. Join the team!
