Upward Sports is a first-class sports experience that emphasizes healthy competition, sportsmanship, skills building and fun versus the "win-at-all-costs" mentality found in many children sports leagues.

Sunnyside Baptist is offering their 4th season of Upward Volleyball in March and April 2025 for girls and boys, grades Kindergarten - 2nd (Thursday night game/practices), and 3rd, 4th & 5th (Tuesday night practices/games) and grades 6th - 8th (Thursday night practices/games). Registration will open January 31, 2025. Last day to register is March 14, 2025. Evaluations are March 6, 2025 from 6:00-8:00pm. First practices begin week of March 11. Sunnyside Baptist Church is excited to be offering Upward Pickleball for the first season! This League is for students currently enrolled in grades 5th-12th. Please share this league with a friend and invite them to join us as well. We look forward to seeing you this season!

Online registration is currrently open and will close on Monday, August 25, 2025.

Player Evaluations will take place the week of August 18(days/times TBD)

Practices begin August 21 and will continue through September 27, 2025.

5th-8th grade will practice and play games on Thursday nights, 6:30pm-8:00pm.

High School students will practice and play on Saturday mornings 9:00am-10:30am.

Games begin week of September 4, 2025

Opportunities for adult and teen volunteers for coaches and/or referees will also be available.
